We do not offer free pilots. Canopy’s core value proposition is our platform’s ability to monitor and manage unique hardware solutions in a highly configurable fashion. Fully configuring the platform to your unique operations typically requires a few weeks of collaboration with our implementation team. As a result, we offer a 4-to-6-week Paid Pilot Program with clearly defined success criteria that allows you to implement Canopy and test it on your devices. Reach out at info@goCanopy.com to learn more about our Pilot Program. If you’re looking for a faster and lower cost way to evaluate Canopy, check out our Starter Basic Plan to see our out-of-the-box health dashboards and basic remote action management capabilities.
Every Canopy plan includes a set number of devices with the license price, and you may purchase additional Device Packs whenever you need to add more devices into Canopy. Device Packs are sold in quantities of 250, 500, and 1,000. Pricing varies based on which plan you choose. Larger Device Packs are available for purchase within our Premier Plan.
The Canopy Advanced Plan is our most popular plan due to the value of self-healing automations, smart alerts, and configurable health dashboards in minimizing downtime for scaled deployments (i.e., over 500 deployed devices). However, depending on the size and complexity of your device fleet, our Premier or Starter plans may be better suited to meet your needs.
Our Starter Basic and Starter Plus Plans will not typically require onboarding fees due to the simplicity of the solution. However, for more complex enterprise customers (i.e., customers on the Advanced or Premier Plans), Canopy may charge implementation fees associated with the amount of setup configuration. These one-time fees cover the cost of solution architecture advisory and implementation resources staffed to your onboarding. Our costs are openly discussed as part of the solution discovery process and as our team better understands the work required to properly onboard your devices. Yes. Canopy offers a 10% discount for select plans when customers are billed annually instead of monthly. Canopy also offers volume discounts when customers purchase larger Device Packs for additional devices.
All Canopy plans are for a minimum contract length of 12 months. Customers may choose to bill monthly or annually over that term.
No. Canopy strives to offer transparent pricing and honest expectations on implementation timelines. We share total cost of ownership estimates before you sign so your team understands the time to realize value. If there are any questions or concerns you have, reach out to us! We are happy to help. You can contact us at info@goCanopy.com.
Yes. You can contact your Sales representative to discuss plan upgrades within your contract period. If you’re interested in this option, let us know and we can discuss which plan can best help your business.
No. Unlike some RMM platforms, which charge based on number of seats, Canopy plans allow you to have unlimited users to support your deployment. Depending on the plan you chose, you may also have user permissions controls to manage which users can access certain devices, modules, or remote actions.
No. Canopy’s license pricing takes into account your fleet size, device type(s), and all associated data processing costs. If needed, our team will work with you to understand your solution architecture to provide exact pricing. But with over 1 million devices on our platform across diverse use cases and industries, we will already have a strong sense for your unit costs.
Training and onboarding are included with all Canopy plans, except for Starter Basic. The level of on-going support is dependent on which plan you select, but additional guided onboarding hours or Product Training Bootcamp hours can be purchased separately as needed for customers on Starter Plus or higher plans.
Custom integrations with third party applications may require professional services if the integration requires custom development effort on the part of Canopy. Our Customer Success team works with customers to leverage our Agent and Enterprise APIs to streamline integrations and keep costs low. However, if additional support is needed, our implementation team can assist.
Canopy’s pricing is competitive with similar RMM solutions designed to support large and complex deployments of IoT hardware solutions. Our pricing is typically at a premium to traditional RMM platforms designed for IT use cases (e.g., laptops and servers). For more information on the key factors driving prices for RMM software, check out this resource.
Canopy does not allow customers to purchase platform features or capabilities ad-hoc. Our plans are designed to offer the right level of support based on solution complexity, deployment size, and remote management needs. However, net-new enterprise integrations or additional Module customizations are available for customers on the Advanced and Premier Plans at additional costs. Custom specifications are not available for any Starter Plans.
